YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy, kept clear.

This notice describes the enquiry form built for the redesigned Event Marking website.

Who you are contacting.

Event Marking is part of MLE. Contact us at mail@mlepyrotechnics.co.uk, 01327 876 037, or Units 14–16 Bentley Way, Daventry, Northamptonshire, NN11 8QH.

Information you provide.

The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, event location and a message. You can also provide an organisation or event name, event date and the service you need. Please avoid including sensitive personal information.

Why we use it.

We use these details to respond to your enquiry, discuss the services you have requested and prepare a quote. Depending on the enquiry, this supports steps towards a contract or our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. Submitting an enquiry does not sign you up for marketing.

Enquiry delivery and spam prevention.

When configured on the production server, enquiries are sent through our Gmail mail service. A simple maths question helps check form submissions. The form uses a session cookie, a security token and an IP-based submission limit. Gmail processes enquiry data as part of delivering these messages.

The rate limit stores a one-way hash derived from your IP address and server secret, together with attempt times, in short-lived server files. Form contents are not stored in those files. The server also processes normal connection information to deliver the website.

Video on our homepage.

Our homepage includes an embedded Vimeo player. Loading it connects your browser to Vimeo, which processes connection information to deliver the video. We request do-not-track mode and keep autoplay switched off. You can also open the video on Vimeo using the link beside the player.

Keeping and accessing your information.

Enquiries may be retained in business mailboxes and operational records for handling your request and related administration. Contact us to ask about retention, access, corrections, deletion or an objection to processing. Some rights depend on the circumstances and applicable obligations.

You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. We have not added separate advertising or analytics tools to this website. This notice should be reviewed against the final hosting setup and business retention arrangements before public launch.
